I made the reservation for 2 rooms (one for 2 people, and one for 3 people) for 4 nights. The total priced listed in the booking was 1000 euros. However, I I was charged 80 additional euros for the 3rd bed in the second room.

The view towards the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius makes this hotel a fantastic experience. Breakfast on the terrace with these views is a real treat. Pool area is fairly small but very relaxing. Staff were very good and were very happy to help.

The 20 minute walk into Sorrento is a little bit tricky with a short steep hill down from the hotel and then a main road with heavy traffic and narrow footpaths. But you get used to it - or alternatively there is a hotel shuttlebus (just 4 a day) or a local bus (every 20 mins) that runs along the main road to Sorrento. S.Agnello is the nearest train station which is only a 15 minute walk away for heading off to Pompeii and Naples.

Wonderful hillside location overlooking Sorrento, the Bay of Naples, Mount Vesuvios and Island of Capri. Easy access to the old town and Piazza de Tasso. Helpful front desk staff. Good selection for breakfast.

Difficult to find. Parking on the road - on a hill on a bend. Wifi didn't work in lounge or room.

The hotel was excellent, the staff were great and it was a lovely place to relax.

The location is not ideal, be prepared to walk.

Very helpful staff. Lovely setting just outside Sorrento,with sea and vesuvius views. The staff were very aware of the importance of a gluten-free diet which made the holiday even more enjoyable. Easy tranport links to Ercolano ,Pompeii and the Amalfi coast.

Perhaps more frequent courtsey bus times.

We stayed for 4 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Our hotel room had the most stunning view of the mountains and the sea and over to Naples across the bay. The roof top swimming pool in beautiful landscaped gardens is one of the nicest pool I have seen in a hotel. The room was spacious and nice. The staff were really lovely and so helpfull. You have a very short walk into the heart of Sorrento but the only downside is the walk up the hill to the hotel after a night out - it certainly works off the calories - but overall it is definately worth it. I would 100% return to the Hotel Cristina.

The hotel has good location on the mountain on top of a hill near Sorrento with great view of the sea. It offers a good shuttle service to and from the hotel to the city center. The staff were very helpful. The checkout time is fantastic as you can leave as late as 12:00!

The breakfast could have been better - we missed brown bread and a selection of cold cuts and fresh food. The coffee was from a machine and this is unacceptable for an Italian hotel! The breakfast staff were in hurry to clean up although some of us were still sitting.
